National Braai Day

National Braai Day lugujwa ngo Suku Lwamsiko 24 UMandulo minyaka yonke. Bonke abantu baseNingizimu Afrika nasemhlabeni wonke bayakhuthazwa ukuba bakhanyise imililo yabo ngalolu suku kanye hlupha into. Usuku eliyisikhumbuzo seNingizimu Afrika ifa layo elicebile futhi ziyinto layo eliyingqayizivele, izoso. Abantu kuwo wonke amaqembu yabantu kanye nezinkolo iqhaza.[2]

Braai Day ngokokuqala ngqá ngo-2005 eyayihlelwe Mzansi Braai Institute, futhi kusukela ngo-2008 ibizwa elitholakalayo ngaphansi kohlelo olubizwa ngokuthi yi Braai Ngefa (Braai4Heritage), isinyathelo non-profit.[3] Ngo-September 5, 2007, uArchbishop Desmond Tutu abavikela esimisiwe usuku.[4] isInyathelo wathola ngo-2008 kwemvume yeziphathimandla we-South African National Heritage Council.
