English: Believers leaving the grand mosque in Kiota after Friday prayers, in Niger (Kiota commune, Boboye Department, Dosso Region). Kiota is one of the most important centers of Sufism and devotion in West Africa. Influential religious leaders of the Tijaniyyah (or Tijani) order have their seat here. The annual Mouloud celebrations in honor of the Prophet Mohammed are known far beyond the borders of the community.
