Two master lists needed for en:zu translation

Towards eventual English-to-isiZulu translation of the page name terms, is it possible to obtain the following lists?

• Countries and organizations (national, international, e.g. Shura Council of Egypt, Pan-African Parliament, etc.)
• Positions (offices, e.g. [Vice-]President, [Deputy] Minister of ..., Member of..., etc.)

If such lists don't exist or can't be generated, please inform me so I'll prepare them manually for submission to the translator. -- Deborahjay (talk) 18:50, 3 uNhlangulana 2018 (UTC)

Practically by translating the names in Wikidata you do the work. Each list has one position to translate. NB they are not the official names for the function but practically they do well enough. When we have info boxes for politicians that allow for the inclusion of different positions we are in business for individual articles for each politician providing quite quickly substantial information that is more than what shows in a tiny text. What remains to be done?

Today there have been no new list creations in this group, only content (?) updates by Listeriabot. So I ask what's upcoming:

• in your production process: Are there more list pages to be added, or have you exhausted the African countries and their notable official positions?
• about the recurring statement "This list is not ready for use on Wikipedia because a [Position X in Country Y] who served twice does not show twice" - does this require manual repair in the table prior to the draft list page moving to mainspace? How is this done?
• target language elements (isiZulu, by me with assistance): What is needed? Is there a script with several steps in a certain order?

I anticipate creating a list of countries and positions and getting these authoritatively translated into isiZulu. Will you/I also be doing this eventually in the isiXhosa WP? Kindly advise and I'll organize my activities accordingly. -- Cheers, Deborahjay (talk) 13:33, 6 uNhlangulana 2018 (UTC)
